Live On-Site Embroidery
@ Oakridge Park

Made Theory delivered live on-site embroidery activations for Oakridge Park across two events, creating personalized keepsakes for homeowners, media, and guests.

For the Day One homeowners event, our team operated three embroidery stations, customizing aprons live on-site as personalized housewarming gifts. Guests were able to have their aprons embroidered during the event, adding a thoughtful and memorable touch to the homeowner experience.

For Day Two’s media event, we returned with three embroidery machines to personalize tote bags for attendees. With a high-volume setup and streamlined production flow, our team embroidered over 100 tote bags in just 2.5 hours.

Across both events, the live embroidery experience gave guests a personalized takeaway while creating an interactive activation that complemented the launch of Oakridge Park.

Overview

For Oakridge Park, Made Theory delivered live on-site embroidery across two events, creating personalized gifts for homeowners, media, and guests.

Our team operated three embroidery machines on both days, managing the full customization experience on-site and keeping production moving efficiently across two very different event formats.

The Challenge

Each event required a premium personalization experience that could handle a high volume of guests without creating long wait times.

With different products and audiences across both days, the setup also needed to be flexible while still delivering a consistent, polished experience.

The Activation

Across both days, we brought the customization experience directly into the event, giving guests and media the chance to see live embroidery happening right in front of them.

For the homeowners event, aprons were personalized on-site as housewarming gifts, adding a thoughtful and elevated touch to the experience.

For the media event, the live embroidery became part of the activation itself. Influencers and guests were able to watch their tote bags being customized in real time, creating an experience many had never seen at an event before. With three machines running on-site, we embroidered over 100 tote bags.

The Result

Across both events, live embroidery added an interactive and personal element to the Oakridge Park experience while giving guests something they could take home and use long after the event.

Our three-machine setup also allowed us to manage high guest volume efficiently, including completing more than 100 personalized tote bags during the two-hour media activation.

Overview

For Jobber's Vancouver office opening, Made Theory brought two interactive event activations under one roof: a live patch bar and photo booth experience.

We designed custom Vancouver-themed patches, sourced the hats, handled live pressing, and ran the photo booth — giving guests personalized keepsakes without the Jobber team having to coordinate multiple vendors.

The Challenge

The experience needed to be interactive, personal, and fast enough to keep guests moving throughout a busy corporate event.

With two activations running at once, everything also needed to feel connected and easy for guests to navigate.

The Activation

Guests chose a hat, selected their favourite Vancouver-inspired patches, and decided exactly where they wanted them placed. We custom designed 32 Vancouver themed patches, ranging from local wild life to iconic sites.

Alongside the live patch bar, our photo booth printed custom photo strips instantly, giving guests another keepsake from the night. Lots of people designed their hat and brought it to the booth to take a group photo once they were all heat pressed and personalized, which was such a cute touch!

The Result

The patch bar became one of the busiest activations of the event, with guests customizing hats and taking photos throughout the night. Two interactive activations, one team, and a lot less coordination for the client.
