Who we are
Formerly known as Percy’s Angels, Made Theory was founded in 2021 in honour of my dad, Percy, who I lost to cancer when I was just 19.
Losing a parent at that age changes the way I saw everything. It made me realize how quickly life can shift, and how the time we have with the people we love is never something to take for granted. When so much can be lost, the memories we create and carry with us matter even more.
That became the heart of Made Theory: creating thoughtful experiences that bring people together and give them something meaningful to hold onto.
What began as a personal creative outlet through custom apparel has since grown into a full-service event experience studio, offering live embroidery, laser engraving, charm bars, photo booth experiences, and interactive activations across Vancouver and Canada.
What we do and who we work with
Made Theory is a Vancouver studio that creates live customization experiences and custom merchandise. Our team brings embroidery machines, laser engravers, heat presses and hot foil tools straight to events, so guests can design something personal and take it home the same day.
We’ve run activations for global brands and local businesses alike, including TED, Polo Ralph Lauren, Barbour, Arc’teryx, Ford Canada, ILIA Beauty, Jobber, Oakridge Park and Nest Designs. Our work covers retail pop-ups, store openings, media events, conferences, corporate retreats and weddings in Vancouver, Whistler and beyond.
