Overview
For Jobber's Vancouver office opening, Made Theory brought two interactive event activations under one roof: a live patch bar and photo booth experience.
We designed custom Vancouver-themed patches, sourced the hats, handled live pressing, and ran the photo booth — giving guests personalized keepsakes without the Jobber team having to coordinate multiple vendors.
The Challenge
The experience needed to be interactive, personal, and fast enough to keep guests moving throughout a busy corporate event.
With two activations running at once, everything also needed to feel connected and easy for guests to navigate.
The Activation
Guests chose a hat, selected their favourite Vancouver-inspired patches, and decided exactly where they wanted them placed. We custom designed 32 Vancouver themed patches, ranging from local wild life to iconic sites.
Alongside the live patch bar, our photo booth printed custom photo strips instantly, giving guests another keepsake from the night. Lots of people designed their hat and brought it to the booth to take a group photo once they were all heat pressed and personalized, which was such a cute touch!
The Result
The patch bar became one of the busiest activations of the event, with guests customizing hats and taking photos throughout the night. Two interactive activations, one team, and a lot less coordination for the client.
